Lisa launches housebuilding survey

In a few weeks time, a new Greater Manchester Spatial Framework (GMSF) is going to be published which will set out where housebuilding will take place across Greater Manchester over the next 20 years.

Lisa Smart’s crime survey has shockingly revealed that 1 in 5 respondents from across Hazel Grove constituency have been the victim of crime in the last year.

“We have had over 1,000 responses to our crime survey since we launched it in the autumn, making this one of the largest surveys of this kind in Greater Manchester”, commented Lisa Smart. “Whilst this is a great area in which to live, it’s clear from the responses that there are huge issues with anti-social behaviour and burglary in particular. I’m particularly worried that so many residents didn’t end up reporting crimes to the police as they found it just too difficult to get through to the 101 number to report non-emergency crimes.”
