WASPI women deserve better

Responding to the Government announcing that there will be no compensation for WASPI women, Hazel Grove MP Lisa Smart said: “There are estimated to be over 5,000 women in Hazel Grove constituency who are affected by this.

“The Government has ignored an independent ombudsman’s assessment that compensation should be paid to them.

“I have met with WASPI women several times this year to discuss their demands for compensation, and frankly, I expected better from this Government.”
