MP meets UK Commando Force (UKCF)

MP Lisa Smart met with the UK Commando Force (UKCF) to hear about their work and the UK’s readiness to protect the Arctic and High North.

Lisa Smart, the Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove constituency, said: “With some of our allies less reliable than in the past, and the world far less stable than we'd like, it was very good to hear about the specialist work of our brave armed forces.

“We should all be proud to see our country’s commando forces are working incredibly hard, and in readiness to deal with the ultra-demanding conditions of the Arctic and the High North, and in maritime special operations.”
