Cheshire Wildlife Trust meets with local MP

Local MP Lisa Smart was at Etherow Park recently to meet with James Melling from the Cheshire Wildlife Trust, to hear their concerns on the Government’s ongoing review of laws affecting local habitats. 

Lisa Smart, the Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove constituency, said: 
“Our area has such wonderful spaces for wildlife to thrive. It’s important to take the time to hear from local representatives to know what impact the Government’s approach might have.

“I’ll keep fighting to protect spaces like this, so that local residents can continue to enjoy these spaces, and protect and value them”
