Pensioners Pay the Price of Council Tax Charges
Liberal Democrats on Bedford Borough Council are maintaining their opposition to the policy of deterring people from paying council tax at the post office.
The Government has doubled the housebuilding target for Stockport, weakened the protections on a third of our precious green belt, and is forcing the Council through Ministerial Directives and threats to adopt a Local Plan which will let developers target green belt first.
We oppose this government’s ‘developers charter’ and need your voice. Paul welcomed Santa to Brimington TARA's Christmas Party this weekend. The free party was organised for local children, with money raised by the TARA through raffles and jumble sales. The party was held at Bradley Hall from 2pm on Saturday. Children and adults came along to meet Santa and enjoy the fun and games. Food and refreshments were provided with donations given by local businesses. Funding from Chesterfield Borough Council and the Brimington and Tapton Forum helped the day go with a bang.
