Anger at inflation busting train fare increase
Liberal Democrats in Wolverhampton have demanded that the train companies abandon their plans to impose an inflation busting increase in the price of regulated fares, season tickets and saver tickets.
The Government has doubled the housebuilding target for Stockport, weakened the protections on a third of our precious green belt, and is forcing the Council through Ministerial Directives and threats to adopt a Local Plan which will let developers target green belt first.
We oppose this government’s ‘developers charter’ and need your voice. New Romney Coast Lib Dem Councillor Val Loseby has welcomed Shepway District Council's halting of the public consultation of a separate parish for Greatstone.
