From the beginning (January 2005) Anne Lee has confronted Woking Borough Council with residents' fears about the Conservative Executive Borough Council's proposals for a Waste Plant.
The Government has doubled the housebuilding target for Stockport, weakened the protections on a third of our precious green belt, and is forcing the Council through Ministerial Directives and threats to adopt a Local Plan which will let developers target green belt first.
We oppose this government’s ‘developers charter’ and need your voice. Liberal Democrat MEP for the Western Counties, Graham Watson, visited Chippenham today. Graham was in the town to endorse the campaign of Liberal Democrat candidate Paul Fox. On a warm spring morning Paul, Graham and a number of supporters conducted some very successful canvassing in the Cepen Park South area of Chippenham.
