BEADLE PRAISES A-LEVEL STUDENTS
A senior Newcastle Liberal Democrat has praised students collecting their A-level results today.
The Government has doubled the housebuilding target for Stockport, weakened the protections on a third of our precious green belt, and is forcing the Council through Ministerial Directives and threats to adopt a Local Plan which will let developers target green belt first.
We oppose this government’s ‘developers charter’ and need your voice. There has been a consultation period about proposed changes to Paget Road's parking and traffic calming arrangements. The period has just ended and figures seen by Park Ward Liberal Democrats show that a significant majority of people who responded to the consultation were against the plans. In representing the views of the residents of Paget Road Jonathan Webber is calling on Wolverhampton Council to scrap the plans.
