Conservative u-turn on bus passes
Following pressure from Councillor Pat Brooks and the Lib Dem Team on Epping Forest District council, the Conservatives have performed a u-turn on their bus pass policy.
The Government has doubled the housebuilding target for Stockport, weakened the protections on a third of our precious green belt, and is forcing the Council through Ministerial Directives and threats to adopt a Local Plan which will let developers target green belt first.
We oppose this government’s ‘developers charter’ and need your voice. Lib Dem Councillor Tim Prater has reported graffiti on the green cable box in Firs Lane, Cheriton, to Shepway Council to be removed. Shepway Council have said that they will remove any graffiti in the area - on their property or elsewhere.
Cheriton Councillor Tim Prater is pressing Shepway Council to cut grassy areas of Risborough Lane, Folkestone, where the grass is nearly 1m tall!
