Charles Kennedy MP, Leader of the Liberal Democrats today launched his Party's Law and Order mini-manifesto. The document outlines plans to put 10,000 more police officers and 20,000 more Community Support Officers onto Britain's streets.
Liberal Democrats have been campaigning strongly at both local and national levels to stop the blight of phone masts being built in residential areas near homes and schools. Totnes Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, Mike Treleaven, presented his petition calling for 'Water Justice' to 10 Downing Street at 9.00a.m. on Thursday March 24th. The petition calls for fair treatment for people in the South West where 3% of the population pay for the clean up of 30% of the nation's beaches.
