Chesterfield MP Paul Holmes today officially opened the ECOskies Renewable Energy Training Centre at Markham Vale. The fantastic new training centre is on the M1 Commerce Park, near the new junction 29a. The centre is the country's first dedicated renewable energy training centre offering courses for installers in renewable energy technologies including: solar hot water, solar photovoltaic, wind turbines, ground-source and air-source heat pumps.
The projected cost of the identity card scheme will be £5.612bn over the next 10 years, the Home Office announced today. The cost figures, which are for October 2007 to October 2017, cover set up and the operational expenses of the scheme.
