Five Liberal Democrat candidates have succeeded in winning seats on Marlborough Town Council.
The Government has doubled the housebuilding target for Stockport, weakened the protections on a third of our precious green belt, and is forcing the Council through Ministerial Directives and threats to adopt a Local Plan which will let developers target green belt first.
We oppose this government’s ‘developers charter’ and need your voice. Five Liberal Democrat candidates have succeeded in winning seats on Marlborough Town Council.
The Liberal Democrats have won a seat from the Tories in Epping. Winning candidate, and newly elected councillor, Janet Hedges won her seat by just 10 votes.
Local Liberal Democrats enjoyed considerable success in the local election held on 3rd May.

The Liberal Democrats won all three Folkestone Town and Shepway District seats in the local elections held on 3rd May. Peter Carroll, Peter Gane and Tim Prater were elected as Shepway District Councillors. Peter Gane, Dhan Gurung and Tim Prater were elected as Folkestone Town Councillors.
