Save the 375 bus

Lisa and the Lib Dem team fought hard alongside local residents to save the 375 bus service in April 2020. 

Lisa and the team ran a petition to save the service which runs from Mellor to Stepping Hill. 

Over 3,000 people signed the petition, showing just how important the bus is to so many people. 

2023 update

In 2023, Little Gem ceased running the 375 service to Marple, and this was immediately raised by Lisa and the local Liberal Democrat team, both directly to TfGM and through Liberal Democrat members on the Greater Manchester Transport Committee. 

After emergency contracts were put in place to cover the at-risk service over a 13-week period, TfGM have now agreed contracts which will ensure services continue until January 2025.

The daytime 375 has been replaced by a new service, the 385, which will cover Stockport, Bosden Farm, Hawk Green, Marple and Mellor.
