Lisa, accompanied by Andrew Stunell MP, held a meeting with Norman Lamb, Minister for Health and Stockport & District Mind so Stockport service users could have their one on one with the Minister responsible for mental health.

Commenting Lisa Smart, Prospective MP for Hazel Grove, said –

“I think it is very important to make sure the people at the top know what’s actually going on on the ground, that’s why I invited Norman to come to Stockport so Stockport MIND could let him know how mental health services are doing in our area.”

“Norman heard from the horse’s mouth just what works, what doesn’t and what could be improved in the support we give to people suffering from mental health problems here in Stockport.  It’s vital that we get this right and I know Norman took the feedback fully on board - I’m delighted that Stockport MIND were able to have their say.”
