Local Campaigner Dan Oliver

Dan has lived in the Offerton area for his whole life and still lives locally with his partner. Dan is passionate about fairness and equality, having spent most of his career working in the Stockport charity sector and now as a manager with a Greater Manchester anti-poverty organisation. He loves the community spirit in Offerton and is active in the local area, running a weekly youth group and leading volunteer events, including the Stockport Twilight Walk at Woodbank Park.

Councillor Will Dawson

Will has lived in Offerton for most of his life and he is happy to be bringing up his young family in such a great community. He works at Aquinas College, where he has taught hundreds of fantastic young people from our community. Over the past 5 years as a Councillor, working with residents and colleagues, Will has helped to tackle issues of flooding, water shortages and road safety, organised community collections for refugees and led a defibrillator campaign across the borough. Over the next few years, Will plans to help residents get improved leisure centre facilities for Offerton and to keep campaigning to find solutions to ongoing issues such as parking and anti-social behaviour.
